Wow, I started reading MPE on the Sunday Buddy distributed them! As I read chapters 1&2, I couldn't resist skipping to page 93. Thank You Lord! There lay the answer (Scripture) to questions for a conversation I needed to have the next morning! Talk about answers to prayer… I had been praying for answers from the Lord in which how to handle this situation the previous week!

One of the most profound statements of Alcorn thus far is that your heart follows your money.  I find it quite alarming and much food for thought that if we looked at our cash disbursements, our bank statements and our expenditures to the Lord, we would see where our hearts are! Amazing!

Also, Alcorn's picture of heaven is too much! I've often thought much about heaven, through poems and letters inspired by the Holy Spirit I've written, but when I read the text and put to mind what my family, other believers, and I have in store… how can we not have a life altering adjustment!?!

It may sound harsh or even greedy, but Lord I do want to live to earn my rewards in heaven! Show me how, allow me to model to my children how! Lord pour Your Spirit on our congregation of believers so that we can truly rejoice in heaven! The book is even shaping how I look at having my writings published. I do admit that capital gain is a big part, but I have always had the mind to help my family, friends, and the people around me in need. After all, isn't that why the Lord blesses us, so we can in turn bless others? I can't wait to see what God is revealing in my heart and the realizations He has when the book is finished! My brain is burning to finish the last word of the last page of this book! But as I write this, God always reveals Himself by reminding me, in every word, in every page there is a lesson, there is a blessing, if we open our hearts to hear! I praise my God for putting this book in my hand and all the others who encounter it! Talk to you soon, I'm only on page 117... I have a ways to go!
